Goodbye Guatemala, Hello South Africa!

Today I am saying hello from Guatemala for the last time. Tomorrow my squad and I will be headed to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa.

While I am so excited to go to Africa, it has been hard saying goodbye to Guatemala. I have made so many memories.

I do want to say thank you to everyone who has been supporting me and also announce that I am now FULLY FUNDED! It is no surprise that God has and will continue to provide everything I need to do what He has called me into.

I am now currently on my last flight to Jeffrey’s Bay. We do not yet know what our ministry will look like this season but we do know that the Lord is going to do amazing things in and through us!

Something that God has been teaching/challenging me in lately is how to be obedient to Him in where He is leading my life. It has been so cool to realize that Jesus has some awesome plans for my life and to be able to see how He is going to be glorified in it. Yeah, God has really been challenging me to constantly be listening to Him and obedient in the small everyday decisions. I’ve learned that if He is going to call me into big plans I first have to be obedient in the small things, and willing to get out of my comfort zone for Him.

I want to challenge you this week, to go throughout your days in a spirit of ATL(ask the Lord). This is where you go through your day constantly asking the Spirit what He has for you to do and how He wants you to minister in every situation. It is definitely not easy. When you step into this space of asking the Lord what He has for you, He will often ask you to do something that requires you to step out of your comfort zone. So don’t be surprised when that happens. But it is so so good to be in this place of knowing that this is exactly where the Lord wants you at this moment even though it feels uncomfortable. He won’t let you down!
